Researchers from the Centre for Translational Informatics, including Zina Ibrahim, Honghan Wu and Richard Dobson, are part of the organising team behind a workshop on Knowledge Discovery from Healthcare Data, co-located with the 2017 International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI) in Melbourne, Australia.
Following a successful 2016 KHD workshop, and aligning with this year’s IJCAI theme of autonomy, the 2017 KDH workshop takes place on 19 August 2017, and will support areas of research covered by the novel concept of learning healthcare systems. Contributions are invited from areas including, but not limited to:
- Knowledge acquisition and processing
- Mining, learning and pattern recognition
- Knowledge representation and reasoning
- Autonomous and multi-agent systems
The Knowledge Discovery from Healthcare Data workshop series was established in 2016 to present AI research efforts to solve pressing problems in healthcare. The workshop series aims to bring together clinical and AI researchers to foster collaborative discussions.
Papers accepted for KDH 2017 will be published in the international proceedings volume. This proceedings volume will be published electronically and indexed by Google Scholar and DBLP. For more information, visit the workshop website.
